Enna Codekas Director - Speech
Co-Owner

Enna Codekas is a nationally certified speech-language pathologist at Little Fin Therapies. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-language Pathology and Audiology at Andrews University in Michigan and obtained her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders at Washington State University.  Upon finishing her schooling, Enna has worked in private therapy for 11 years and in the Tacoma School District for 2 years.  She has gained additional experience as a clinical supervisor of SLPAs, Clinical Fellows, and Speech Graduate Students. She has also used her skill sets in a position as clinic director of a private pediatric facility. Her certifications include:

  • Nationally Certified Speech Language Pathologist-Certificate of Clinical Competence, American Speech–Language–Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist, State of Washington
  • Washington State Educational Staff Associate
  • Certified in SOS Feeding Therapy

 Enna’s choice to become a speech language pathologist came from her love of teaching children. Her interest in speech pathology began when she was 15 years old caregiving for a child who had a stuttering disorder. Her love of helping children grew from there and led her on the path to where she is today.

 Enna lives in Spanaway with her husband, Michael, her step-son, Cannon, and three bunnies. Her enjoyments include hiking, camping, traveling, baking, gardening, and archery.

Marissa Johnson Director - OT
Co-Owner

Marissa Johnson is a nationally certified occupational therapist at Little Fin Therapies. She has lived within the Seattle-Tacoma area for the majority of her life, and obtained both her Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Puget Sound. While she has worked in a wide range of settings, she has specialized in pediatric therapy since early on in her 19 year career, and has a background working within the school district and early intervention settings, as well as within various outpatient clinics. She has gained additional experience as a clinical supervisor of OTs, COTAs, and OT students.

Her certifications include:

  • Nationally Certified Occupational Therapist, through NBCOT
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist, State of Washington
  • Washington State Educational Staff Associate
  • Certified in SOS Feeding Therapy

Marissa lives in University Place with her three children, Addison, Quinton, and Theodore, and her English Mastiff, Finley. Her hobbies include include various forms of art and enjoying time with friends and family. 

Dianna Finlay
SLP - Co-Owner

Dianna Finlay is a nationally certified speech-language pathologist at Little Fin Therapies.  She obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Speech-language Pathology from Molloy College in New York.  Dianna has worked in private therapy for 14 years.  She brings her experience as a clinical supervisor of SLPAs, Clinical Fellows, and Speech Grad Students to Little Fin Therapies.  Her certifications include:

 
 
Dianna has a passion for helping children and making quality therapy services accessible to the community.  She is motivated and committed to contributing positive energy and evidence-based therapy to children and families as they navigate therapy services.
 

Aside from work, Dianna enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her husband, dog, and baby boys: Roman & Baby Shane. 

Shane Finlay Director - Business
Co-Owner

Shane Finlay obtained a Bachelor’s degree in International and Comparative Legal Studies from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Post-graduation, Shane was commissioned as a Field Artillery Officer and served on active duty for six years, spending most of his time posted at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

In 2018, Shane left the military and he and his wife Dianna decided to make Puget Sound their permanent home. Shane expanded his professional skills in both business and tech by working for a top Seattle tech company. Shane’s commitment to service for others is his motivation for applying both his leadership and business experience to support Little Fin Therapies and the local community.

Shane lives in Puyallup with his wife Dianna, dog Corona, and kids Roman and Shane. His hobbies include traveling, hiking and working out.  

Daisy Maldonado
Clinic Administrator

Daisy Maldonado is a part of the admin team at Little Fin Therapies. In 2016, she attended Meditec where she obtained her Medical Billing Certificate in San Diego, CA. Daisy has been working in healthcare for the past 11 years and strives to provide the best patient experience possible. She is honored to be a part of this journey working with Little Fin Therapies. 

When she’s not in the office, she’s spending time with friends, camping, cooking, kickboxing, and walking the waterfront with her dog, Jax.

 

Lena Manzo
Clinic Administrative Specialist

Lena is a part of the admin team at Little Fin Therapies. She graduated from Green River College with an associate’s degree in business management. Lena has over five years of experience working in the healthcare field and always had the passion for helping those that need it.

Besides being the second oldest out of nine, Lena has a heart for working with children and has always been surrounded by them. She believes every child deserves compassionate, excellent patient care; whether it’s their first or hundredth visit.

Outside of work, Lena enjoys traveling to new places and eating unique cuisine from all over the world. She also loves spending quality time with her husband, step-son, and two fur babies, Sansa and Lucia.

Emily Gutierrez Dominguez
Administrative Team

Emily Gutierrez is a part of the admin team at Little Fin Therapies. Emily has more than 3 years of experience working in pediatrics. She has a compassion working with children and intends to pursue a career in the medical field.

In addition to traveling, hiking, and shopping at farmer’s markets, she enjoys spending time with her family and their two dogs, Nala and Koa. She also is always up for a good cup of coffee.

Debbie Jones
Clinic Administrative Support

Debbie has been with the Little Fin team from the beginning and assists in an administrative support role remotely. She holds both a Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration and an MBA. Debbie has 30+ years experience working in the medical field with experience ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. Throughout her career, she has gained experience and expertise running an office and offering administrative support when needed.

Debbie and her husband of 30 years are enjoying retirement and extensive traveling. She enjoys serving her community with both Veterans and Caregiving Organizations. As a remote support staff member, you might just cross paths with her out on the road somewhere!

Rosan Ortiz-Anaya
SLP-AAC Specialist

Rosan is a certified Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow at Little Fin Therapies. She completed an undergraduate program in Speech-Language Disorders through Caribbean University in Puerto Rico, and began working as an SLPA in various pediatric settings. Later on, Rosan obtained a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders through Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. During her clinical education, Rosan gained experience treating individuals across the lifespan in private practice, early intervention, and public schools.

Her interest in speech-language pathology began during her teenage years as she observed a family friend work as an SLP. Rosan also engaged in volunteer work at early development centers and a non-profit center for children and young adults with disabilities. During this volunteer experience, Rosan enjoyed observing staff and providing support to the children and young adults in activities within the community.

Rosan lives in Puyallup with her two children. During her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.

Evan Lecksell
SLP-A

Evan is a certified Speech-Language-Pathologist Assistant at Little Fin Therapies. He received a degree in English from Covenant College before completing his communication science coursework at Maryville University. Before his time at Little Fin, Evan has provided speech therapy in public schools, private schools, and daycares, working with young people ages 2-22. Evan believes in therapy that is child-directed, play-based, and fun.

He lives in Tacoma with his wife, Sam. His hobbies include hiking, playing piano, and chess. 

Karina Perez
SLP-CF

Karina is a certified Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow at Little Fin Therapies. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology at California State University, Long Beach. Karina also holds a Certificate in Professional and Conversational Competence for Spanish Heritage Speakers and provides bilingual therapy services. Throughout her clinical training and education, Karina has been exposed to adult and pediatric populations in the hospital, public school, and private practice settings. She has gained exposure assessing and treating a variety of speech and language needs across the lifespan, including aphasia, expressive/receptive language, social skills in the autism spectrum population, and speech-sound production.

Karina gained interest in becoming a speech-language pathologist after volunteering at a pediatric hospital and growing up with family members who were hard of hearing and in need of speech therapy services. As a therapist, she enjoys treating and providing clients with resources to enhance their communication skills as they live, work, and play. She especially enjoys working with the pediatric population and providing play-based therapy.

In her free time, Karina enjoys traveling, visiting coffee shops, and exploring museums.

Andrea Lacey
SLP

Andrea Lacey is a nationally certified speech-language pathologist at Little Fin Therapies. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Speech-language Pathology and Audiology at Towson University in Maryland and obtained her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Kean University in New Jersey. After completing schooling, Andrea has gained experience in both the school and private-practice settings for 4 years, working with children birth-18. She has gained additional experience as a clinical supervisor of graduate students.  Her certifications include:

  • Nationally Certified Speech Language Pathologist-Certificate of Clinical Competence, American Speech–Language–Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist, State of Washington
  • PROMPT Level I & Level II Trained (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets)

As a therapist, Andrea has a focus on building a strong foundation with the children she works with as well as the families. She enjoys teaching speech and language skills to that can be targeted across all settings. 

Andrea lives in Sumner with her husband and their dog, Luna. During her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, listening to music, skiing, hiking, and being outside with friends and family.

Carina Rzyski
SLP-A

Carina is a Certified Speech Language Pathology Assistant in the state of WA. She graduated from Nashville State with a degree in Foreign Languages and a degree in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education from Utah State University. Growing up she moved often between Germany, Mexico and the US, giving me the opportunity to be surrounded by diverse culture, different backgrounds and views. She has been fascinated by language from a young age, growing up trilingual myself, speaking English, Spanish and German. In her eyes language and the ability to communicate verbal or non-verbal are valuable tools which are used by individuals each day, it opens the means to share with others, make meaningful connections.

Her aspiration to cultivate knowledge and language abilities in children has been nurtured in previous employment settings. Having been part of Early Intervention Program, inside a classroom as a pre-school teacher, working with families on behavioral challenges, guiding children through their time in a Montessori classroom, and bringing resources to families while navigating ESIT services at a Children’s Therapy Center or while being a Director for a Child Development Center, in WA, TN, TX and Germany. She is ecstatic about her journey at Little Fin Therapies, getting to work alongside wonderful and knowledgeable therapists and being a part of families journeys, empowering children in finding their own voice and strengths.

She cherishes her time with her husband and two dogs, a Chocolate lab and English Mastiff. Going for walks by the docks on the weekends, painting, and searching for the best local Mexican restaurant. 

Faith Nance
SLP-A

Faith is a certified Speech Language Pathology Assistant at Little Fin Therapies. She received a BS from the University of Hawaii @ Manoa in Speech Pathology and Audiology and an MS from Loma Linda University in California in Communication Disorders. She retired after 32 years with the Department of Education in Hawaii as a Speech Pathologist on Hawaii Island. She then worked in California for 3 years as an SLPA for the San Ramon and Walnut Creek School Districts before moving to Washington.

Faith’s move to Washington was primarily to be close to her 3 sons, 2 grandsons, and 4 male grandpups. She continues to hold out hope for a granddaughter. She enjoys the cool weather, especially cloudy and rainy days, and venturing out to explore niche locales.

Bridget Ellingson
SLP-A

Bridget Ellingson is a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant at Little Fin Therapies. In 2019, she completed her Associate of Applied Science in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting from Chemeketa Community College. Shortly thereafter, she began work as an SLPA with the Orting School District, where she worked with age groups ranging from Preschool through third grade and served a variety of communication needs. She also spent this time continuing her own education, graduating in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders from Eastern New Mexico University. Upon completing her Bachelor’s degree, Bridget joined the team at Little Fin Therapies.

Bridget’s interest in the field of Speech and Language was sparked by her own difficulties with speech as a child. That interest has grown into a passion for giving children the resources they need to make their voices heard.

Outside of work, Bridget spends her time baking, watching period dramas, and getting involved in her church. She lives in downtown Puyallup with her wonderful husband and their two darling cats, Ragnar and Lady Catherine de Purrgh.

Nicole Wissbrod
Lead COTA

Nicole Wissbrod is a certified and licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant at Little Fin Therapies. Nicole graduated from Green River College with an associates in Occupational Therapy Assistance. She developed her passion for working with children with disabilities in high school when she worked as a volunteer para tutor for children with special needs and as a daycare assistant. She has experience working in school districts helping children develop fine motor skills and increasing social emotional regulation.

Nicole lives in Maple Valley and loves spending time with friends and family. In her free time she enjoys going on walks, cooking and watching movies. 

Sarah Cooper
COTA

Sarah is a certified and licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant at Little Fin Therapies. She graduated from Washington State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Psychology. She returned to school to pursue an associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from Bates Technical College to pursue her passion for working with children.  

During her schooling, Sarah gained experience working in variety of settings including schools, hippotherapy (or horse therapy), early intervention for children birth to three, and industrial rehabilitation for the injured worker population.  

Sarah lives in Puyallup with her husband, their two dogs Whiskey and Ellie, and their cat Leo. In her free time she enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends! 

Kate Perkins
COTA

Kate is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) at Little Fin Therapies. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute in Renton, WA in 2016, and currently teaches pediatric courses to future Pima graduates. Kate has worked with the pediatric population for more than 20 years in various ways, such as : professional nannying, dance instruction, leading music exploration classes and providing occupational therapy services to the birth to three population during her 6+ years at Progress Center Early Intervention and Neuromuscular Clinic in Longview, WA. 

Kate lives in Gig Harbor with her beloved dog, Poppy. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time in nature, singing and dancing, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.

Audrey Larsen
OTR/L

Audrey is a nationally certified and licensed occupational therapist. She obtained her bachelor’s degrees at the University of Arizona, in Anatomy and Physiology and Special Education and Rehabilitation, with a minor in American Sign Language. While in college, Audrey participated in the Best Buddies program and volunteering at various pediatric outpatient facilities, which led to her interest in becoming an occupational therapist. In 2021, Audrey moved to Washington to obtain her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Puget Sound. During her schooling, she completed a clinical rotation at Little Fin Therapies and could not wait to return after obtaining her license. She is passionate about providing collaborative and meaningful care to children and their families, using a strengths-based approach.

Audrey lives in Tacoma with her wife and dog. She loves spending time outdoors, gardening, playing video games, and reading.

Mimi Hang
COTA

Mimi Hang is a certified and licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant at Little Fin Therapies. She graduated from Green River College with an Associate’s in Occupational Therapy Assistant in 2015. Her career started in the skilled nursing setting with adult rehab, however, she always had a passion working with children. Her clinical rotation at a pediatric clinic in Southern Idaho made it clear to her where she wanted to work after transitioning out of the skilled nursing setting.

Mimi lives in Puyallup with her husband, daughter, and son. She enjoys spending time with friends and family. In her free time, she finds comfort in scrapbooking, crafting, gardening, going on walks and playing with her kids.

Cameron Browning
COTA

Cameron is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) at Little Fin Therapies. He graduated from Green River College in Auburn with an associate degree for an Occupational Therapy Assistant. He became interested in pursuing Occupational Therapy as a career after experiencing it earlier in life and developed a passion with working in pediatrics after working at a pediatric clinic and the Auburn school district during his time at Green River.

In his free time he enjoys hiking, cooking (especially BBQ), kayaking, and exploring new restaurants.

Randa Burrows
COTA

Randa is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) at Little Fin Therapies She has taught elementary, middle, and high school for over 20 years. She enjoyed working with her students and witnessing them achieve their academic goals. However, she wanted a different way to serve the pediatric population and watch them soar. She soon realized Occupational Therapy would provide those wondrous opportunities. She enrolled in the occupational therapy assistant program at Bates Technical College and graduated June 2022.

Randa is a mother of 4 and grandmother of 3. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, playing WordsWithFriends, and enjoying nature.

Ivy Nguyen
COTA

Ivy is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) at Little Fin Therapies. She recently graduated from Pima Medical Institute. She was first exposed to the pediatric population when she joined the sports medicine team in high school, preventing and managing injuries for athletes. The connections she made with students bloomed into a passion for supporting children and adolescents in achieving their goals. She soon discovered Occupational Therapy to combine her physical and mental health knowledge. 

Outside of work, Ivy spends most of her time creating art and spending time with family and friends. Her other hobbies include napping, listening to music, and playing games. 

Karla Gormley
COTA

Karla graduated with Honors from Bates Technical College in 2023. Karla has developed a passion for working with children from volunteering in her siblings’ school as a teen, to being a creative stay-at-home mom, then spending four years as a paraeducator in a SPED classroom, as well as volunteering with her children’s Scouts BSA troop. Karla has two teenagers and two cats. She enjoys spending her free time reading, painting, working on a variety of craft and sewing projects, and spending time with her family.
